WakeUp is an anti-snooze alarm app designed to help users fully wake up through missions, movement, and wake-check verification. This page explains how to get help and what information to include when contacting support.
1. What Support Covers
You can contact support for help with issues such as:
- alarm setup or editing problems;
- alarm not behaving as expected;
- mission flow issues;
- wake-check questions;
- premium access or restore purchase issues;
- questions about permissions or reliability settings;
- bug reports or unexpected app behavior.
2. Before You Contact Support
Before sending a support request, please check the following:
- make sure notifications are allowed for WakeUp;
- make sure required permissions such as motion or camera access are enabled if you use related missions;
- review the Alarm Reliability & Permissions page for iOS limitations;
- confirm whether the app was force-closed before the alarm should have fired;
- check whether Focus mode, mute settings, or other system settings may have affected the experience.
3. How to Contact Support
You can contact support by email at:
d.h.emservice@gmail.com
Please use a clear subject line such as “WakeUp Support Request” so the request can be identified quickly.
4. Information to Include
To help diagnose issues faster, please include as much of the following as you can:
- your device model;
- your iOS version;
- the WakeUp app version;
- a short description of what happened;
- the time the issue occurred;
- which mission type was involved, if relevant;
- whether the app was in foreground, background, or had been force-closed;
- screenshots if they help explain the issue.
5. Mission-Specific Help
Math or memory missions
If a cognitive mission does not behave as expected, include the mission type, the selected difficulty, and what result you saw on screen.
Shake or movement missions
If movement-based missions seem inaccurate, check that Motion & Fitness permission is enabled and include details about the behavior you observed.
QR or camera-based missions
If camera missions do not work, check that camera permission is enabled and that lighting conditions allow the code or object to be recognized properly.
6. Premium and Billing Help
If you are having trouble with premium access, restore purchases, or subscription recognition inside the app, support may help with feature-access troubleshooting.
However, Apple handles billing, payment methods, renewals, cancellations, and refunds through the App Store. For billing disputes or refund requests, you may need to use Apple’s support channels.
7. Reliability Questions
If your question is about alarms not sounding as expected, wake-check timing, or behavior after the app was force-closed, please also review:
Alarm Reliability & Permissions — /labs/wakeup/reliability
This page explains important iOS limitations that affect all alarm apps, including notification limits, silent mode behavior, and the impact of force-closing the app.
8. Response Time
Support requests are handled manually. Response times may vary depending on request volume, weekends, holidays, and the complexity of the issue.
9. Feature Requests
You may also use the support email to send feature ideas or feedback. Suggestions about new mission types, wake-check logic, premium features, accessibility, and user interface improvements are welcome.
10. Abuse and Safety
WakeUp is intended as a productivity and wake-up assistance tool. Support is not a channel for emergency services, medical advice, or crisis intervention.
