Tani Prąd: Taryfy i Alerty (“the App”) is an iOS application designed to help users in Poland understand and use cheaper electricity hours for selected tariffs such as G12 and G12w. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App stores, what information remains on your device, how local notifications and widgets work, and what choices you have.

By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.

1. What the App Does

The App shows whether electricity is currently in a cheaper tariff window, when the next cheaper window begins, and which appliances may be more suitable to run now or later. It may also surface this information through a Home Screen widget and optional local notifications.

The App uses bundled reference schedules for supported Polish operators and tariffs, and it may allow users to create manual schedule overrides for their own setup.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

The App is designed primarily as a local-first experience. Depending on how you use it, the following information may be stored on your device:

• selected operator or OSD;
• selected tariff type, such as G12 or G12w;
• manual schedule overrides you create;
• saved appliance preferences or recommendations settings;
• notification preferences;
• widget-related app state shared through the App Group container;
• general in-app settings and onboarding state;
• subscription state, if premium features are introduced.

This data is generally stored locally using on-device app storage technologies such as SwiftData, local preferences, and shared app-group data for widget support.

3. No Account Requirement

The current App concept does not require you to create an account in order to use core tariff, schedule, and widget features. You are not required to submit a username, password, or profile in order to access the main local functionality.

4. Notifications

The App may ask for permission to send local notifications. These notifications are intended to remind you about upcoming cheaper electricity windows, recommended times to run appliances, or similar user-requested alert behavior.

These are local notifications generated on your device. They are not the same as remote push notifications from a backend service.

5. Widget Data Sharing

The App may use an iOS App Group in order to share limited data between the main app and the Home Screen widget. This allows the widget to display your current tariff status, next cheap window, or similar summary information.

This widget-related data sharing is intended only for app functionality between your own installed app and widget on your device.

6. Reference Tariff Data

The App may include bundled reference schedule data for supported operators and tariffs. This data is informational and is distributed with the App as static reference content. It is not personal data.

If you create a manual override, that override becomes part of your local configuration and is used instead of the default bundled reference schedule where applicable.

7. Analytics and Tracking

At the time of this policy, no external analytics or advertising SDK is required for the App’s core local functionality unless introduced in a future version. If analytics, tracking, advertising, or cross-app profiling are added later, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly and any required user disclosures will be provided.

8. Payments and Subscriptions

If premium features are introduced, billing, renewals, and cancellations would typically be handled by Apple through your App Store account. We do not collect or store your full payment card information directly.

9. Data Sharing with Third Parties

We do not describe the core app experience as requiring the sale of your personal data. The App is intended to work primarily with locally stored settings and user preferences.

If a future version introduces third-party services for subscriptions, analytics, support, or infrastructure, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect that change.

10. Data Retention

Your saved settings, overrides, notification preferences, and widget-related state remain on your device until you delete them, reset them inside the App, or remove the App from your device, subject to iOS storage behavior.

11. Deleting Your Data

You may be able to remove or replace manual schedules, clear local preferences, disable notifications, or uninstall the App. Removing the App may also remove app-local data and shared app-group data, subject to iOS behavior.

12. Children’s Privacy

The App is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly design the App to collect personal information from children as a primary audience.

13. Security

We take reasonable steps to reduce unnecessary data exposure by keeping the product local-first where possible. However, no storage environment or software implementation can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

14. International Use

The App is intended for electricity tariff users in Poland, but it may be accessed in other countries. If future backend features are added, data processing locations may depend on the hosting or infrastructure used at that time.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If material changes are made, we may revise the effective date above and publish the updated version on the relevant product legal page.
