Slipstop (“the App”) is a mobile productivity application developed and operated by Dzianis Huletski (“Developer”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App may process, what stays on your device, what may be shared with third-party providers, and what choices you have.
By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.
1. What the App Does
Slipstop is an ADHD-friendly productivity app designed to help users reduce impulsive distraction and regain focus. Depending on the version you use, the App may allow you to select distracting apps, enable pause or interruption flows, start short focus sessions, and track rescue moments, completed sessions, and focus minutes.
Slipstop is not a medical app and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent ADHD or any other medical or psychological condition.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
The App is designed to keep core product state locally on your device whenever reasonably possible. Depending on the features available in the version you use, local data may include:
- onboarding completion state;
- language and interface preferences;
- selected distracting apps or related app-selection tokens provided by Apple’s system frameworks;
- focus timer state and session history;
- rescue statistics, including started and completed rescue moments;
- basic settings related to interruption and focus flows;
- subscription entitlement state as needed for app functionality.
This local data generally remains on your device unless you delete the App, reset the device, restore purchases through Apple, or unless a future sync feature is added and separately disclosed.
3. Permissions and Screen Time Access
Slipstop may request permission to use certain Apple system capabilities related to Screen Time, app selection, or focus-related restriction flows. These permissions are requested so the App can help you configure and support interruption or blocking features for distracting apps.
Depending on the iOS version and the features available in the release, the App may interact with Apple-provided frameworks for things such as:
- selecting apps you want to treat as distracting;
- managing interruption or shielding flows supported by iOS;
- temporarily allowing or delaying access as part of the product’s focus logic.
Slipstop does not claim to read the private content of your messages, photos, emails, or the actual content inside third-party apps merely because you selected those apps as distracting. The App is intended to work through Apple-supported system capabilities and does not use those permissions to inspect your private content.
You can review more detail on this in the Permissions & Screen Time Access page.
4. Personal Information We May Receive
We do not require you to create an account in order to use the core version of Slipstop.
We may receive limited personal information only in specific cases, for example:
- if you contact us by email for support;
- if you send bug reports, feedback, or questions;
- if Apple provides limited purchase or subscription-related status information required to verify premium access.
If you email us, we may receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message.
5. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Billing
Slipstop may offer premium features or subscription-based access through Apple’s in-app purchase systems, including StoreKit. Billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment processing are handled by Apple through your Apple ID and App Store account.
We do not receive your full payment card details.
6. Analytics and Diagnostics
The App may use privacy-conscious analytics, diagnostics, or crash reporting tools to help us improve app quality, stability, and usability.
Depending on the release version, this may include limited technical information such as:
- app version;
- device model and operating system version;
- language or region setting;
- crash logs or error diagnostics;
- high-level usage events such as screen openings, completed focus sessions, or feature interactions.
We do not use analytics to sell your personal data. If tracking permissions are ever required due to future third-party services or product changes, the appropriate iOS system prompt will be shown where legally required.
7. Advertising
If the App is described as ad-free in the released version, then the core experience does not rely on third-party advertising SDKs. If this changes in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or when that change takes effect.
8. Health and Sensitive Data
Slipstop is designed to be ADHD-friendly in its user experience and wording, but it is not a therapy, coaching, or medical platform. We do not intend to collect health records, diagnoses, treatment plans, or clinical data as part of the core MVP experience.
If you choose to mention personal, emotional, or medical details in a support email, we may receive that information as part of your message, but only because you chose to provide it.
9. Children’s Privacy
Slipstop is not specifically directed to children as a data collection service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children as a core part of the product.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information through support communication or another feature, they may contact us and request review or deletion where applicable.
10. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share limited information only where reasonably necessary, for example:
- with Apple for purchases, subscription handling, and system-level product functionality;
- with service providers that support analytics, diagnostics, hosting, or communications, if used;
- when required by law, regulation, or valid legal request;
- to protect the safety, rights, or integrity of users, the Developer, or the App.
11. Data Retention
Locally stored app data remains on your device until you delete it, reset the App, remove the App, or replace it through your own device actions.
Support emails, diagnostic records, or business records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide support, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, or operate the product.
12. Your Choices
You may be able to manage your privacy and data in several ways:
- delete the App and its local data from your device;
- manage subscriptions through your Apple ID settings;
- review or change app permissions in iOS Settings, where applicable;
- contact us regarding support-related information you may have shared;
- disable or stop using interruption-related permissions if you no longer want Slipstop to operate in that way.
13. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information processed in connection with the App. However, no method of storage, transmission, or electronic processing can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
14. International Use
The App may be used internationally. If support systems, diagnostics, or infrastructure providers are used, information may be processed in countries outside your place of residence, subject to the practices of those providers and applicable law.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may revise the effective date above and publish the updated version on this page.
