These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PDF Converter Ultimate mobile application for iOS (“the App”), operated by Dzianis Huletski (“Developer”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1. What the App Is
PDF Converter Ultimate is a mobile application for scanning documents, importing images and files, converting supported content into PDF, previewing and sharing files, and managing saved documents on iPhone and iPad.
The App is intended to help users work with documents more efficiently through native iOS workflows and on-device processing where supported.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally permitted to use the App under the laws of your jurisdiction. If you are using the App on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to do so.
3. License to Use the App
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the App for personal or internal business use on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and Apple’s applicable platform rules.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App:
- for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful purposes;
- to interfere with, disrupt, or overload the App or related infrastructure;
- to attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, bypass, or exploit the App beyond what applicable law permits;
- to upload, convert, share, or distribute content in violation of the rights of others;
- to use the App in a way that violates intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or data protection laws.
5. Your Files and Content
You may use the App to scan, import, convert, store, preview, organize, and share files and other content (“User Content”). You retain your rights in your User Content.
You are solely responsible for:
- the legality of the files and content you process using the App;
- obtaining any permissions necessary to scan, import, convert, or share that content;
- how you use, export, store, or distribute the resulting files.
6. Supported and Unsupported Conversion Types
The App currently supports certain conversion workflows, including image-to-PDF and scan-to-PDF, using native iOS and on-device technologies.
Some advanced conversion routes, including Office-related formats such as DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, or reverse conversion from PDF to editable Office formats, may require future server-based processing or third-party SDKs and may not be available in the current version of the App.
We do not guarantee that every file type or document structure will be supported.
7. On-Device Processing and Future Server Features
Where supported, the App processes files locally on your device. If future versions introduce server-based conversion for advanced document formats, those features may be subject to additional technical requirements, limitations, and updated legal disclosures.
We may add, modify, suspend, or remove conversion features as the product evolves.
8. File Quality and Conversion Results
Conversion results may vary depending on image quality, document structure, file complexity, unsupported layouts, iOS limitations, third-party dependencies, and device conditions.
We do not guarantee that every conversion result will be complete, exact, error-free, editable, or suitable for a specific legal, business, archival, or formatting purpose.
You are responsible for reviewing converted documents before relying on them.
9. Device Permissions
The App may request permission to access your camera, photo library, and Files app in order to provide scanning, importing, exporting, and sharing functionality.
If you deny these permissions, some features may not function properly.
10. Sharing and Export
The App includes tools for previewing and sharing files through native iOS functionality. Once you choose to export or share a file outside the App, that content is no longer controlled by us and may be governed by the policies of the destination app, service, or recipient.
11. Subscriptions and Paid Features
The App may offer premium access through Apple’s StoreKit, including a free trial and auto-renewable subscription.
Billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and restore purchases are handled by Apple through your App Store account. Additional details are described in the Subscription Terms.
12. Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, restrict, discontinue, or redesign any part of the App at any time, with or without notice. This includes conversion features, limits, supported file types, subscription plans, onboarding, pricing, or document-management tools.
We are not obligated to maintain any specific feature indefinitely.
13. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, source code, interface, branding, text, graphics, and non-user-generated materials, is owned by or licensed to the Developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, resell, or commercially exploit any part of the App except as expressly permitted by law or by these Terms.
14. No Warranty
The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, accuracy, reliability, non-infringement, and suitability.
We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every document, workflow, or user need.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of files, business interruption, lost profits, data loss, document corruption, or other losses arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.
This includes losses arising from failed conversions, formatting differences, unsupported file structures, permission issues, platform limitations, third-party dependencies, subscription issues handled by Apple, or user error.
If applicable law does not allow certain limitations, some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Developer from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of another person or organization.
17. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the App if we believe you are violating these Terms or using the App in a harmful, unlawful, abusive, or technically disruptive way.
18. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may revise the effective date above and publish the updated Terms on the App’s legal page.
