1. Acceptance of These Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using AI Psychologist 24/7, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

AI Psychologist 24/7 is an AI-powered emotional support and reflection companion for adults. It is designed to help users talk through emotions, reflect on situations, log mood, save journal entries, use structured reflection tools, and access crisis-safe support flows.

The App is not a licensed psychologist, therapist, psychiatrist, doctor, or medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure medical or mental health conditions. It is intended for emotional support, reflection, and self-guided use only.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using AI Psychologist 24/7, you represent that you are 18 years of age or older and legally capable of entering into these Terms.

4. No Emergency or Crisis Service

AI Psychologist 24/7 is not an emergency service and must not be relied upon in any urgent, life-threatening, or crisis situation.

If you are in immediate danger, believe you may harm yourself or others, or need urgent professional help, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis hotline immediately.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful, personal, and appropriate purposes. You must not:

• use the App in a way that violates any law or regulation;
• use the App to submit unlawful, abusive, threatening, fraudulent, or harmful content;
• attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or interfere with the App or its backend services;
• misuse voice, image, or AI functionality in a way that is deceptive, harmful, or invasive of another person’s rights;
• circumvent subscription, usage, or feature restrictions.

6. AI Outputs and Limitations

AI-generated responses may be incomplete, imperfect, inaccurate, generic, delayed, or not appropriate for your specific situation. You are solely responsible for how you interpret and use any output generated by the App.

The App may offer structured reflections, calming suggestions, journaling prompts, conversation preparation tools, or other supportive content. These outputs are informational and reflective in nature only.

7. Crisis and Safety Intervention

The App may use automated safety logic to detect messages or transcripts that suggest crisis, self-harm, suicidal ideation, or other high-risk situations. In such cases, the App may interrupt the usual flow and show an emergency or crisis-support screen.

You understand and agree that this safety logic is intended to reduce harm but cannot guarantee detection of every high-risk situation.

8. User Content

You may enter text, voice-transcribed content, journal notes, mood logs, and other information into the App. You retain responsibility for the content you choose to input.

You represent that you have the right to submit any content you provide and that doing so does not violate the rights of any third party.

9. Local Storage and Backend Processing

The App is designed with a local-first architecture. Most user data remains on the device. Limited data may be transmitted to backend services to provide AI functionality, image generation, voice processing, moderation, or service-related operations.

Your use of the App is also subject to the Privacy Policy, which explains data handling in more detail.

10. Subscriptions and Paid Features

Some features of AI Psychologist 24/7 may require a paid subscription. Subscription billing, renewal, cancellation, and payment processing are handled through Apple’s in-app purchase system.

11. Availability and Changes

The App, its features, and its pricing may change over time. Features may be added, modified, suspended, limited, or removed without notice where reasonably necessary for technical, legal, product, or business reasons.

We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every user or every circumstance.

12. Beta, Experimental, and AI Features

Some features may be experimental, evolving, or dependent on third-party services such as AI providers, speech systems, hosting infrastructure, or Apple platform capabilities. These features may behave differently across devices, regions, network conditions, or subscription tiers.

13. Intellectual Property

The App, its code, design, branding, text, visual identity, structure, and related materials are owned by the developer or used with appropriate rights. Except where expressly permitted, you may not copy, resell, redistribute, modify, or create derivative products based on the App.

14. Termination or Suspension

We may suspend, limit, or terminate access to the App if reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, address abuse, investigate misuse, or respond to safety-related concerns.

You may stop using the App at any time and may remove local data using the controls provided in the App, where available.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

AI Psychologist 24/7 is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. No guarantee is made that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, accurate, reliable, or fit for any particular purpose.

No content or output from the App should be treated as medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or emergency advice.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to the use of the App.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the maximum extent allowed under applicable law.

17. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on third-party platforms or infrastructure, including Apple services, hosting providers, AI providers, speech processing services, analytics providers, and similar tools. We are not responsible for service outages, policy changes, or operational issues caused by third-party services.

18. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in Poland, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

19. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The most recent published version will apply to future use of the App after publication. Continued use of the App after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
